Tennis In Ibiza: Courts & Clubs to Play at

The Islaé Maison Way.

Some of the best island days start earlier. A little movement. A little competition. A court somewhere in the sun. Good people on the other side of the net. Then perhaps a long lunch, a swim, and nowhere you particularly need to be.

Tennis fits beautifully into the rhythm.

Across the island, you’ll find courts tucked into different corners of Ibiza, from traditional clay to hard and artificial-grass surfaces, with options for private lessons, casual games or a simple morning rally.

You don’t have to be a serious player. You don’t even have to remember your backhand.

It’s less about the score and more about stepping outside the usual island routine. Moving your body. Switching off your phone. Getting competitive for an hour, then forgetting about it over lunch.

WHERE TO PLAY

The Bubble Club Ibiza

Sant Antoni

Formerly home to Viva Tennis Ibiza, this Sant Antoni club has taken over the same setting, bringing tennis into a more contemporary social atmosphere.

With two floodlit tennis courts, professional coaching and rackets available to hire, it’s an easy place to fit a game into an island day, whether you’re returning to the court or looking for a little competition.

Beyond tennis, The Bubble Club also has six padel courts, a gym, outdoor workouts, yoga, ice baths and massage facilities, making it a natural choice for a few hours away from the usual Ibiza agenda.

Ibiza Club de Campo

Sant Jordi de Ses Salines

Located near Ibiza Town, Ibiza Club de Campo is a sports and leisure club with tennis alongside other facilities. The Balearic Tennis Federation lists six clay courts, one fast court and a mini-tennis court at the club.

Club de Tennis Santa Gertrudis

Santa Gertrudis

A central-island option, the club is listed by the Balearic Tennis Federation with three Greenset courts. Its location makes it worth considering if your plans take you inland rather than along the coast.

Tenis Club Ibiza

Can Misses, Ibiza Town

For players who prefer clay, Tenis Club Ibiza is based at Can Misses. The city’s recently inaugurated Espai Esportiu Can Misses includes three new clay courts approved for official competitions, together with mini-tennis facilities, changing rooms and spectator seating.

Club de Tennis Santa Eulalia

Santa Eulària des Riu

On the east side of the island, the Santa Eulalia tennis club has three hard courts listed by the Balearic Tennis Federation. It’s another option to explore if you’re staying around Santa Eulària.

BREATHE THE GAME

A tennis session can be the plan in itself. Or it can be the start of a day that unfolds in a sporty way: a morning on court, a swim afterwards, lunch somewhere you’ve been meaning to try.

For those staying in a private villa, it’s also worth checking whether tennis is available on the property. Some private residential and hospitality settings have their own courts and may offer coaching, although access and arrangements vary.

THE ISLAND, BETWEEN SETS

There’s something satisfying about giving a day a different kind of focus. A court, a rally, the sound of the ball and a little friendly competition.

No elaborate itinerary required. Just a good game.
